Jesper Salt or Pepper Dark Walnut Mill, 7.6"h
Proud to be named in Bon Appétit as a "Top 10 Great Specialty Food Store"
The Danes have been creating some of the most modern and memorable mill designs since the 1950s. The Jesper Mill continues the tradition. The look is simple, clean and timeless. But the clean part actually extends to its function as well.
The Jesper is outfitted with our favorite type of ceramic grinding mechanism made by CrushGrind. It works smoothly with little effort. When it comes to mills, the mechanism is everything. And CrushGrind is top notch.
Each mill is either engraved with a small letter "S" or "P" on the top so you'll know what's inside. Sold individually or as a set.
The Jesper is crafted of beautiful Dark Walnut wood with a light oil finish. It's also available in Oak.
The grind is fully adjustable for coarseness by turning the dial on the bottom. To fill the mill, just pull off the top and pour in peppercorns, salt, spices or herbs. The CrushGrind mechanism can handle them all.

Having struggled for years with mills from the usual sources, I thought I'd give these a try. Easy to open, messless filling (I hated chasing peppercorns around the counter), and the fabulous CrushGrind® mechanism. They look great, too. Is $100 a lot to spend on salt & pepper? To have something that I use every day look great and work flawlessly, they're worth every penny.
Grinders and peppers are of excellent quality.
I've had quite a few salt and pepper mills over the years. These are the best by far.
They are well made, they grind really well (thank you crush grind), and they are beautiful. They are well worth the price, as they bring daily design joy and could likley last for a decade or two.
