Veddy, Veddy Close - A view of the US Election from India

I was sitting in the airport in India watching the election returns this morning broadcast in the local language known as Malayalam. I was the only American there and the only English on the screen was the current electoral vote at the time, 163-162. I was starved for information and I could tell that the TV analysts were talking in depth about each of the states. I turned to the Indian guy next to me and asked if he spoke English. He said yes. Then I asked him what was going on with Ohio. He said, “Ohio is 163 to 162. Veddy, veddy close.”
