About a year ago, I started asking our customers to write reviews about the products that they bought from us. I figured it might be a good idea to let people know what others thought about our stuff rather than just blabbing about it myself.
Sure, I expected people to be satisfied and say nice things. After all, we are incredibly picky about the quality of the products that we sell. We are proud to supply some of the top restaurant chefs from around the country. But the thing is, you never really know what people are going to say when you give them the opportunity.
Please believe me when I tell you that I SWEAR I DIDN'T WRITE ANY OF THESE REVIEWS! (And no, neither did any of my friends or family. Though some of these customers have become my friends since writing these reviews!)

6 stars out of 5! There are two things that always need to happen together when merchandizing a product. They are: presentation and superior product. The Reluctant Trading Experiment hit the nail on the head, not only with the salt but also with the pepper. I will be back and also trying more products. Keep on knocking the ball out of the ball park! I would give them 6 stars out of 5!
postcard from Iceland I don't get out often enough, out meaning the hinterlands of my travel dreams + desires, so crafting chocolate is my magic carpet so to speak. I was in search for the perfect addition to a special bar I had in mind, and this salt beckoned. Can a salt taste of thermal pools and fjords and the bright sting of winter on your face? yes. oh my yes. Wonderfully crumbly, lovely layered flavors.
Super fast service I procrastinated getting my very best girlfriend something for her birthday. I slipped in just under the wire and purchased some pepper and salt for her on Friday. Her birthday was Monday. It got there for her birthday! Wow! How good of service was that. Still don't know what she thought of the product yet. I got a thank you, but I haven't tried it yet from her. (We live states away from each other.) I can't wait to hear how she liked the pepper. I haven't tried it yet. I'm in love with the salt. Anyway, don't do like I did and wait till the last minute. But if ya do, you might get away with it. Thanks!
Great products and interestingly presented. Flavorful products and presented differently, great for gifting, except when you see them you'll want for yourself. The grinders work perfectly.the entire experience with this company has been Top Notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Best- bar none! As a restaurant professional, classically trained chef and just all around food geek, there is no better place to get spices this fresh without hopping on a plane and traveling half way around the world. The Icelandic Flake sea salt is that perfect way to finish a dish to make those flavors pop. Try it on some seared Sea Scallops, you'll thank Scott over and over again!
We enjoy it more than we expected We love the salt and pepper in the flask so much, much more than expected. all my friends are tired of hearing about it. It's our new favorite gift to give. And we are making food specifically to cover in pepper and salt. Like corn on the cob and pasta. Just to taste the pepper. And that is only because we should not eat just pepper and salt.
The Great Salt debate of 2017 I really love the intensity of this salt. a very "briny" aspect that is delightful. After some adjustments I can verify that the salt will work with the grinder as well. The whole process was smooth, as usual. This company truly expresses a personal interest in their customers that is woefully lacking today in so many others. Repeat customer(offender), feeding a salt and pepper "monkey on my back" like Yoda teaching Luke.
The Best Salt I have about 15 different types of salt in my cupboard, 4 of them flake salts. Icelandic flake salt is my go to for meats and I recently had to buy extra to give some to my sister because she loved it so much. We had a family gathering and she asked me to bring the Icelandic flake salt because it was so good. Unfortunately I was out, so I brought some Hawaiian flake salt and after the meal she asked me to order her up the Icelandic salt because it was so much better then what I brought. I can not recommend this salt enough, it is the perfect salt. Great company to buy from with fast shipping.
