Headed to Iceland for Artisanal Sea Salt on May 28

May 16, 2013

On May 28, I’ll be headed to Iceland to bring back flake sea salt from the Norwegian Sea. I’ll be arriving in Reykjavik, the capital. My friend Bjorn will pick me up and we’ll drive 4 hours north to his salt making facility in the Westfjords. For two days, Bjorn and company will teach me how to hand-harvest their pure, artisanal sea salt. I’ll be sharing all of the details as they happen on this blog, Facebook and Twitter. So be sure to follow along. Time Magazine recently named the Westfjords one of the world’s 24 best kept secrets. But I’m afraid I’m just going to have to spill the beans.

The Icelandic Flaky Sea Salt is now available.
