We searched the world for the perfect salt cellar almost as long as we searched for the perfect salt (which we found a few years ago in Iceland). Good news. We found our salt cellar.
What makes a perfect salt cellar? Well, first off, it needs an air-tight lid. That's an important feature because salt left in the open air will dry out and get hard. Our small salt cellar (it's not huge - 2 5/8" diameter, but it is functional) has a beautiful Acacia wood lid fitted with an air-tight, silicon seal. BTW, we also sell our cellars in a gift box with a tube of our signature Icelandic Flaky Sea Salt.
Each small cellar is 2 5/8" in diameter and about 2" high. Each holds about 2 oz of our Icelandic Flaky Sea Salt. If you're looking to buy a gift, a Stoneware Salt Cellar and our Icelandic Sea Salt make an ideal gift set.
Choose White or Black. The stoneware part of the cellars are dishwasher safe.
Stoneware part is dishwasher safe. Hand wash lid. Do not drop on big toe. Do not store Morton salt inside instead of Reluctant Salt. Do not pass go.
